A&W started life as a Root Beer and Root Beer Float restaurant in 1919. It has franchises around the world and calls itself an American Restaurant serving Hamburgers, Hot dogs and French Fries. Several of them still are drive-ins using carhops. Fun stuff! They also sell the worlds most popular brand of Root Beet.
